I am a Vancouver-based filmmaker with extensive international experience and a solid educational background. I hold a B.A. in Communication Arts/Cinematography and have completed intensive film cinematography programs and directing workshops. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of being mentored by industry luminaries such as Jerry Coyle, Beth Lazroe, Neil Taylor, Giovanni Robbiano, Mikhal Gahut, Asen Sopov, and Kevin Garrison.

My filmmaking journey has taken me across 13 countries, living and working in five countries across three continents. I have directed and shot projects in digital, 16mm, and 35mm formats, collaborating with a diverse array of international creatives and professionals. My latest endeavor, "GREED," is a short film that garnered over €50,000 in funding and sponsorships, with collaborators from seven countries. Currently in post-production, it promises to make a significant impact.

Growing up in the Middle East, living in Europe, and immersing myself in Slavic and Balkan cultures have profoundly influenced my artistic vision. These experiences have equipped me with a unique perspective, enriching my storytelling and driving my ambition. I am highly adaptable, a quick learner, and excel in communication within diverse, multicultural environments. I strive to improve and enhance any team I work with.

With a deep passion for visual storytelling, I have honed my craft through years of experience behind the camera, managing productions, and bringing stories to life on screen. My technical expertise spans operating professional-grade cameras like the Arri Alexa and Arriflex 435/416, and advanced skills in video editing and coloring using DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere.

Having directed and produced short films recognized at prestigious international festivals, including Cannes and DIFF, my work reflects a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. I believe in the power of film to advocate for human rights, women empowerment, gender freedom, LGBTQIA+ rights, and child protection.

Now based in Vancouver, I am eager to collaborate with like-minded creators and contribute to the vibrant film community here. My work is not just about creating films but also about making a lasting impact through powerful narratives that inspire change.
